Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Field Service Technician to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, and related equipment across client sites in Germany. You will diagnose, repair, and install components, while coordinating with manufacturers and the Technical Assistance Group for complex issues.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of technical experience in refrigeration or HVAC, plus a valid driver's license. Occasional overnight travel and on-call duties are required.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
• Willingness and ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned
• Relevant technical training, licenses, and/or certifications (i.e., EPA, CFESA) preferred
• Commercial refrigeration and/or commercial cooking equipment repair experience preferred
• Self-motivated with the proven ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal direct supervision

Aufgaben

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to offer service solutions for commercial equipment
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and ability to read diagrams and schematics
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment
• Communicate with manufacturers for diagnoses and parts identification
• Consult with Technical Assistance Group for support onsite
• Install all ordered parts for customers promptly
• Promote other Smart Care services to customers
• Produce work orders, time reports, receipts, and truck stock inventories
• Follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures
• Maintain neat, orderly service vehicle and inventory
• Maintain productivity per company standards
