Service Technician – Industrial Heat Pump Systems (Overath, Germany)

The Service Technician will support industrial heat pump systems across Europe. The role is based in Overath with a hybrid working model, requiring regular on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service and maintenance work at customer sites across Europe.
• Conduct commissioning activities at customer premises.
• Provide remote maintenance and telephone support to customers.
• Train customers on installed systems.
• Assist in the creation of technical training materials.
• Support acceptance tests and trials on the heat‑pump test bench.
• Support production during the construction of heat pumps.
• Assist in the ongoing development and improvement of products.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Completed training in refrigeration technology, mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
• Fluent in English and good German language skills.
• Valid ClassB driver’s licence.
• Strong motivation to learn and continuously develop technical skills.
• Solution‑oriented, hands‑on mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Refrigeration systems certification (or willingness to obtain it).

• Experience working with large customers such as global industrial groups, as well as smaller specialised companies.
