Zusammenfassung

Sungrow Europe is seeking a Data Engineer to transform EMS, SCADA and contract data into reliable operational insights for our ESS fleet. You’ll configure EMS settings, optimize control strategies, and dispatch logic across the fleet to support performance and reliability.

You will diagnose EMS faults, validate updates, and act as EMS technical contact for Operations, Remote Service Center and HQ. Strong SQL/Python skills, time-series data handling and dashboarding with Power BI or Grafana are

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or comparable field.
• Experience with SCADA, EMS or industrial telemetry in ESS/BESS or renewables is ideal.
• Understanding of BESS control strategies, dispatch logic and PLC behavior.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python, time-series data, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with dashboards in Power BI or Grafana and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Ability to translate contract requirements into transparent data logic.
• Knowledge of availability calculations, LTSA frameworks is a plus.
• English communication at C1 level; other European languages are a plus.

• Build robust data pipelines that bring operational sources into a consistent, traceable dataset and resolve data gaps quickly.
• Develop fleet monitoring dashboards and automate LTSA compliance, availability and ad hoc performance reporting.

Your profile

• You hold a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a comparable technical field.
• You bring experience with SCADA, EMS or industrial telemetry, ideally in ESS, BESS, renewables or a similarly technical environment.
• You understand BESS control strategies, dispatch logic and PLC behaviour, including hands-on EMS configuration or troubleshooting.
• You work confidently with SQL and Python or similar languages, time-series data and REST APIs.
• You have experience building dashboards in tools such as Power BI or Grafana and are familiar with Azure or AWS.
• You are structured, detail-oriented and able to translate contract requirements into transparent data logic.
• Knowledge of availability calculations and SLA, LTSA or liquidated damages frameworks is a strong advantage.
• You communicate confidently in English at C1 level; other European languages are a plus.
