Servus und hallo bei uns hier in Sungrow! We are excited to welcome a hands‑on, technically sharp professional to our growing European team as our new C&I ESS Service Engineer based in Germany.
Responsibilities
Curious what this role is all about? Let's dive right in:
- You will take ownership of the delivery management of C&I ESS projects across Europe, coordinating tasks and tracking progress to ensure every project lands on time and on target.
- You will provide direct technical support to engineers throughout project delivery, commissioning, operation, and maintenance phases – helping troubleshoot issues and keeping systems running at their best.
- You will regularly analyse and optimise delivery processes, spotting improvement opportunities and championing best practices to boost operational efficiency.
- You will organise, maintain, and enrich technical documentation, making sure knowledge is well‑structured and accessible for both internal teams and external partners.
- You will be the bridge between our customers and our team – actively gathering requirements and feedback, and helping shape practical solutions that raise satisfaction and project outcomes.
- You will travel frequently across Europe (up to 60% of your time), bringing your expertise directly to project sites where it matters most.
Qualifications

- You hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or a related field, and bring 2+ years of hands‑on experience in the electrical, renewable energy, energy storage, or power industry.
- You communicate professionally in English (C1) and Chinese (B2), enabling you to navigate technical documentation and collaborate across international teams – additional European language skills are a strong plus.
- You have a genuine passion for renewable energy and a proactive mindset to keep learning and evolving within the energy storage space.
- You are well‑organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment.
- Experience with data processing, analysis, or programming is a welcome plus that will help you stand out.
- You are ready and willing to travel frequently across Europe, with up to 60% travel to support project delivery, commissioning, and service activities.
