Qualifikationen

• Texas RN license with permanent Texas license within 60 days.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and health promotion.
• Work in inpatient and outpatient settings as part of a treatment team.
• Conduct physicals, order tests, prescribe medications, and serve as a healthcare provider.
• Educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments.
• Coordinate timely care for defined patient populations under physician supervision.
• Coordinate care between healthcare providers and participate in interprofessional rounds.
• Conduct initial, ongoing, and discharge health assessments.
• Identify health characteristics, develop care plans, initiate interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Perform invasive, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures within licensure and credentialed privileges.
• Lead quality, outcome, and patient-safety improvement activities.
• Develop and implement patient-safety protocols with the interprofessional healthcare team.
• Demonstrate leadership as a clinical resource, consultant, and patient advocate.
• Coach staff, support professional growth, and precept Nurse Practitioner students and medical residents.
• Integrate research and evidence-based practices into care.
• Participate in research, presentations, publications, and performance improvement.
• Document care, decrease length of stay, optimize efficiency, and support financial targets.
• Complete and update the My Development Plan.
