Job summary

Qualifications

• Abschluss in Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Netzwerk-/Sicherheitsbereich.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• CCNP-Zertifizierung oder gleichwertige Kenntnisse.
• Analytische und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

Responsibilities

• Entwurf, Implementierung und Wartung sicherer Netzwerk- und Infrastruktur-Lösungen für internationale Kunden.
• Bewertung neuer Hardware und Technologien; Mitwirkung an Netzwerk-Architekturkonzepten.
• Konfiguration und Optimierung von Routing, Switching und Sicherheitsumgebungen.
• Unterstützung bei Konfigurationsmanagement, Monitoring und Fehlersuche.
• Zusammenarbeit mit System Engineers und Kunden zur Bereitstellung zuverlässiger KRITIS-Lösungen.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and maintain secure network and infrastructure solutions for international customer projects
• Evaluate new hardware and technologies and contribute to network architecture concepts
• Configure and optimize routing, switching, and security environments
• Support configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
• Collaborate with System Engineers and customers to deliver reliable solutions for KRITIS-sector projects

Profil

• A degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the network/security field
• Strong understanding of routing and switching, with knowledge of technologies from Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and similar vendors
• Passion for developing complex technical solutions
• CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge and practical experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and solution-oriented working style
• Confident and professional demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers
• Good command of written and spoken English
