About the role
As Marketing & Brand Manager, you will be responsible for brand building and marketing at JOLT Energy. You will ensure that our brand is visible, relevant, and differentiated across all channels—towards customers, partners, and investors. You will work closely with management, product management, and external agencies to establish JOLT as the leading brand for urban high power charging. The role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and is closely collaborating with the leadership team as well as the team that manages our product offerings.
About the tasks
Brand strategy & management
- Developing, maintaining, and further developing the brand identity (purpose, vision, design, tone)
- Ensuring a consistent brand presence across all communication channels
- Responsibility for brand guidelines, brand architecture, and messaging
Marketing strategy & campaign management
- Developing and implementing B2B and B2C marketing strategies
- Planning and managing marketing campaigns (digital, print, out-of-home, events)
- Analyzing and optimizing marketing activities based on clear KPIs
- Working closely with sales and business development to increase leads and brand awareness
Content & Digital Communication
- Management and further development of the company website, social media, and newsletters
- Conception of content for partner communication, press, employer branding, and investors
- Ensuring consistent communication of JOLT
- Establishment and maintenance of media and agency contacts
Event & Trade Fair Management
- Planning and organization of industry events, trade fairs, and partner events
- Development of creative formats for brand activation
Your Profile
Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in brand and marketing roles, ideally within energy, mobility, infrastructure, or tech-driven industries
- Experience in translating complex, technical offerings into clear customer value propositions
Skills
- Proven ability to build and scale a brand across multiple markets and touchpoints
- Strong understanding of brand architecture, tone of voice, and visual identity governance
- Development and execution of integrated marketing strategies (online & offline)
- Proactive and able to thrive in a nimble, fast-paced environment.
Language & Location
- Native in German, fluency in English; other European languages are a plus
- Based in Munich, Germany, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements.
