Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Program/Project Implementation Manager to own fintech onboarding engagements from kickoff through go-live in Germany. You will lead cross-functional teams, translate regulatory requirements into actionable tasks, and drive timelines, milestones, and dependencies.

In this role, you will coordinate stakeholders across Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technology, maintain detailed plans, risk flags, and documentation, and support audits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years in program or project implementation management within financial services.
• Direct fintech, payments, or bank-fintech onboarding exposure preferred.
• Experience managing client-facing onboarding engagements in regulated institutions.
• Familiarity with card issuing and onboarding processes for fintech partners.
• Working familiarity with regulatory/compliance requirements for fintech relationships.
• Strong communication, coordination, and ability to manage multiple engagements.
• PM certification preferred; Smartsheet or Jira experience is helpful.

Aufgaben

• Serve as day-to-day program owner and main contact for onboarding engagements from kickoff to go-live.
• Build onboarding implementation plans with timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
• Lead onboarding kick-off and recurring status meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Track progress against deadlines and surface blockers early.
• Coordinate requirements across Compliance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Technology.
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into concrete program tasks and checkpoints.
• Apply the onboarding framework and playbook consistently.
• Support pre-launch readiness reviews and go/no-go discussions.
• Provide regular status reporting, including risk and delay flags, and elevate issues.
• Maintain implementation documentation including RAID logs and milestone trackers.
• Act as day-to-day contact for fintech clients during implementation.
• Support audit/examination requests and track remediation items.
• Contribute lessons learned to refine the implementation process and partner experience.
• Participate in cross-functional working sessions.
• Manage multiple implementations and adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program or project implementation management within financial services
• Direct exposure to fintech, payments, Banking-as-a-Service, sponsor and/or issuing bank, or bank-fintech partnership models
• Experience managing client-facing implementation or onboarding engagements within a regulated financial institution strongly preferred
• Familiarity with card issuing, program management, and the bank-side onboarding process for fintech partners
• Working familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to fintech client relationships
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent client onboarding engagements
• Ability to coordinate across Compliance, BSA/AML, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Technology stakeholders
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage expectations with fintech partners
• Ability to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into practical program tasks, milestones, and checkpoints
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• High degree of professional integrity and sound judgment when handling sensitive or confidential client information
• PMP or similar project/program management certification preferred but not required
• Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet or Jira is helpful
