The Datadog Major Accounts Team is focused on driving new business and expanding the current Datadog footprint with our largest and most strategic clients. The success of the Major Accounts Team directly impacts the success of Datadog and is a highly visible position with bold revenue targets. We are searching for seasoned and successful Account Executives who have a passion for technology and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment. Since its inception in 2021, the team has experienced unprecedented success, and we are continuing to expand. This is a lucrative opportunity for driven and competitive salespeople.

What You'll Do :
  • Prospect into targeted accounts while managing an efficient sales process
  • Nurture existing client relationships and grow the Datadog footprint
  • Build and own relationship maps for your territory, including existing contacts and aspirational contacts
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer's business
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms by demonstrating value and ROI
  • Be resourceful when faced with challenges
  • Identify necessary steps to close business and validate with customers
  • Identify key business drivers behind opportunities
  • Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency
Who You Are :
  • Someone with 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience
  • Proven success in selling to Fortune 100 companies and winning new business
  • Experience managing complex account teams from multiple GTM ecosystem partner functions
  • Experience selling new solutions into accounts already leveraging core technical products
  • Skilled in leveraging existing contacts and generating new prospects to break into new business units and sell new products
  • Consistently meets or exceeds sales goals
  • Able to independently prospect and build a sales pipeline
  • Experience working for an innovative tech company
  • Willing to travel over 50% of the time
