Zusammenfassung

JD Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair facilities, equipment, and machinery across our logistics centers in Berlin. You’ll perform inspections, diagnose faults, and execute repairs on conveyors, HVAC, and electrical systems.

The role requires a 2–3 year background in industrial maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read manuals and schematics, and shift flexibility including nights and weekends.

Qualifikationen

• 2–3 years of experience in industrial or facilities maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• HVAC, electrical, and industrial maintenance training preferred.

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Technician at JD.com, Inc., you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and preventative maintenance of our facilities, equipment, and machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across our logistics and fulfillment centers.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on various mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, electrical issues, and structural problems.
• Execute repairs on conveyor systems, forklifts, packaging machinery, and other warehouse equipment.
• Conduct minor plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure operational efficiency.
• Identify and recommend improvements to equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., HVAC, industrial maintenance, electrical) preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and practices in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environments (e.g., hot, cold, dusty).
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
