The role requires reading manuals and schematics, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

About The Team

JD.com, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of our facilities and equipment, minimizing downtime and supporting seamless operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within warehouses, offices, and logistics centers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, and system failures, implementing timely and effective repairs.
• Conduct inspections of facilities and machinery to identify potential issues and proactively address them.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks to minimize disruption to operations.
• Install, assemble, and disassemble equipment and machinery as required, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance tasks and ensure smooth coordination.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and proficiently.
• Assist in the training of junior maintenance staff when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., HVAC, electrical, mechanical) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a large-scale industrial or logistics environment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various equipment types.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
