Job summary

Daher in Hamburg is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to supervise daily warehouse operations, oversee inbound/outbound shipments, and ensure compliance with QSE rules. You will coordinate with production, suppliers, and transport providers to keep inventory accurate and deliveries on track.

Key duties include cycle counts, SAP goods receipts, customs clearance, and maintaining data in our IT systems. The role requires weight lifting up to 10 kg and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in trade / aviation or as a specialist for warehouse management.
• German driving license is required.
• Experience in logistics / warehouse logistics.
• Knowledge of SAP and MS-Office (Excel & Access).
• Very good English, basic German; French is an advantage.
• Solution-oriented mindset and high reliability.
• Team player, accuracy and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries & shipments tracking and monitoring between suppliers, customers and internal departments included duty.
• Cycle Count preparation and coordination according to internal policies.
• Interface with production, coordination, supplier, transport company and customers.
• Management of chemicals (ordering, inventory, consumption check, etc.).
• Regularly perform inventory of warehouses and track the data into the proper IT tool (database).
• Kitting & steering of Work Orders.
• Preparation of reports and communications for internal/external clients; complaints testing and processing, if required.
• Generation of goods' receipts in SAP and fulfillment confirmation under internal quality procedures.
• Responsibility for all warehouse activities and general warehouse management (AOG management, spare parts, inventory, transport coordination and disposition, system and data maintenance, etc.).
• Carry out customs clearance (Europe), Asia and USA.
• Weight lifting (up to 10kg) during transportation.

YOUR TASKS

Responsibilities and authority regarding QSE (quality, security environment)

• Ensure that the FOD and safety rules are fulfilled
• Wear the required PPE Apply the QSE Management System
• Maintain Warehouse in a clean state
• Handle chemical products according to health and safety rules
• Implement continuous improvement for the global logistic process

YOUR QUALIFICATION

• Vocational training in trade / aviation or as a specialist for warehouse management
• Applicants must hold a valid German driving license
• Professional experience in the field of logistics / warehouse logistics
• Good knowledge of SAP and MS-Office (Excel & Access)
• Very good English skills, Basic German skills, French is advantage
