• Oversee day-to-day activities of analysts and prioritize work.
• Review, resolve issues, risks, and escalations.
• Report progress and escalate to the Application Manager.
• Coordinate design, build, testing, training, and go-live activities.
• Provide leadership and best-practice build standards for Epic applications.
• Lead Application Analysts under the Application Manager.
• Plan team work activities, resources, and meeting plans.
• Ensure timely completion of project plans, design docs, audits, testing plans, training curricula, and activation plans.
• Support operational and project work streams.
• Ensure deliverables comply with governance structures.
• Escalate unresolved issues and communicate work-plan status.
• Ensure best practices, testing, coordinated changes, and cross-team impact management.
• Participate in team meetings and timely decisions.
• Onboard and instruct new hires on Connect Hope Epic policies.
• Ensure adherence to processes and collaborate across teams.
• Perform Epic application build assignments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned analysts, including prioritization of work and coordination of resources
• Review and resolve identified issues, risks, and escalations
• Report progress, status, and issue escalations to the Application Manager
• Coordinate system design, build, testing, training, and go-live activities with other team leads
• Provide leadership and best-practice build standards for Connect Hope Epic applications
• Lead Application Analysts under the direction of the Application Manager
• Plan and oversee team work activities, resource coordination, and meeting plans
• Ensure timely completion of project plans, design documentation, build audits, testing plans and scripts, training curriculum, and activation plans
• Support operational and project work streams
• Ensure deliverables comply with the City of Hope governance structure
• Ensure ticket submissions are complete, thorough, and assigned in a timely manner
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Application Manager and across teams
• Communicate work-plan status for tasks, issues, and risks
• Ensure best practices, thorough testing, coordinated changes, and cross-team impact management
• Participate in team meetings and ensure timely team decisions
• Onboard and instruct newly hired team members on Connect Hope Epic policies and procedures
• Ensure team adherence to processes
• Collaborate with teams within and outside of ConnectHope
• Perform Epic application build assignments
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; experience may substitute for minimum education requirement
• 8+ years of experience in systems analysis or 5+ years of healthcare Information Technology experience, including 3 years of Epic build experience
• One (1) year of leadership/mentorship of a team, task force, project or assignment, or combination thereof, demonstrating the ability to effectively lead others
• Relevant Epic Module or newly obtained Epic certification within six months of employment
• For internal COH candidates, Epic certification shall be obtained within 9 months of transferring into the Epic project
