Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an Epic Prelude Specialist to provide end-to-end configuration, testing, and support across patient access, registration, and related Epic workflows. You will optimize Patient Estimates and E-Signature functions, maintain Letter Templates, and collaborate with Revenue Cycle and HIM stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on Prelude experience, current certification, and strong problem-solving capabilities to translate business needs into scalable Epic solutions.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on Epic Prelude experience in a healthcare environment.
• Current active Epic Prelude certification required and verifiable.
• Strong understanding of Epic Patient Access/Registration workflows and Prelude functionality.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Patient Estimates.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Epic E-Signature functionality.
• Demonstrated experience working with Epic Letter Templates.
• Strong understanding of Prelude integration with other Epic applications and Revenue Cycle workflows.

Aufgaben

• Provide functional and application design, build, and support for Epic Prelude, including registration, patient access, and related workflows.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Prelude issues and configuration challenges.
• Support and optimize Patient Estimates functionality, including configuration, workflows, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support Epic E-Signature functionality within registration and patient-facing workflows.
• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Epic Letter Templates and related correspondence.
• Evaluate Prelude workflows and recommend optimization, standardization, and user-experience improvements.
• Work with Patient Access, Registration, Revenue Cycle, HIM, and other operational stakeholders to translate business requirements into Epic solutions.
• Participate in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.
• Develop and execute test scripts and participate in integrated, regression, and end-user testing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution or escalation.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, patches, and new functionality.
• Create and maintain application documentation, workflow documentation, configuration documentation, and training materials.
• Collaborate with other Epic application teams on intersecting functionality and downstream workflows.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings and communicate application impacts, recommendations, and status.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on Epic Prelude experience in a healthcare environment
• Recent, current, and demonstrable Epic Prelude experience; primarily historical experience will not be considered
• Current active Epic Prelude certification required and verifiable
• Strong understanding of Epic Patient Access/Registration workflows and Prelude functionality
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Patient Estimates
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Epic E-Signature functionality
• Demonstrated experience working with Epic Letter Templates
• Strong understanding of Prelude integration with other Epic applications and Revenue Cycle workflows
