Do you enjoy experimenting, like working accurately and are you interested in science? Then this apprenticeship is just right for you! Dive into the exciting world of research, technology and innovation.

Your training

• Analyzing raw materials: You analyze raw materials such as grains, flour, malt and sugar. For example, you check how much moisture, fat or protein they contain – because this affects taste, shelf life and baking properties.
• Checking products: Before our products, such as a baking mix, are filled, you check whether all ingredients are present in the correct quantities. The baking mix is only ready for sale once everything is correct.
• Analyses / analytical equipment: You carry out basic physical and wet-chemical analyses and work with modern measuring equipment, for example to determine the pH value or protein content or to carry out analyses such as fatty acid distribution. You will learn how to operate and maintain this equipment and how to evaluate the results.
• Ensuring quality: You document all results and help ensure the consistently high quality of our products. Only products that pass your laboratory tests make it to the market!
• Hygiene and safety: You work cleanly, accurately and according to clear rules – because hygiene and safety are top priorities in food companies.

Duration: 3.5 years

Vocational College: Weekly instruction course in Selb (accommodation available)
