Zusammenfassung

NovaTaste is seeking a part-time laboratory technician to join our quality control team in Freilassing. You will perform microbiological and chemical analyses, conduct sensory evaluations, and manage sample handling and documentation in a collaborative environment.

The role requires vocational training in dairy/lab tech or related fields, experience in food analytics, and proficiency with HPLC, PCR, MS Office, and SAP. English skills and teamwork are essential in our dynamic company culture.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in food analytics or analytical lab environment.

Tasks

• Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, complex spice and food additive blends, as well as meat products
• Independently perform microbiological and chemical/physical analyses according to defined testing methods
• Carry out sensory evaluations to assess product quality and characteristics
• Perform sampling, e.g., of raw materials or for microbiological environmental monitoring
• Receive, register, label, and properly store incoming samples
• Prepare and process samples in accordance with laboratory standards
• Analyze, interpret, and evaluate test results, including computer-based documentation
• Prepare analysis certificates and related documentation
• Collaborate with external laboratories and coordinate outsourced analyses
• Operate, maintain, and monitor analytical laboratory equipment, taking responsibility for assigned instruments and testing devices
• Perform equipment maintenance and calibrations according to maintenance schedules

Skills

• Completed vocational training as a dairy laboratory technician, chemical laboratory technician, food technology specialist, or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience in food analytics or in an analytical laboratory environment
• Experience with instrumental analysis, particularly HPLC and PCR
• Proficient use of MS Office applications and ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Independent and conscientious work style with strong attention to precise documentation
• Committed, reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
