A global Tier 1 Automotive supplier is seeking an Account Manager in Stuttgart to enhance relationships with a major OEM account.   • Fluent in German and English.

Our client are a global Tier 1 Automotive supplier who are looking to recruit an Account Manager to oversee and grow the strategic relationship with a major Automotive OEM account. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact between the business and the account, ensuring delivery of high-quality service, customer satisfaction, and business growth across vehicle programs and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main liaison between the company and the OEM across all levels (purchasing, engineering, quality, program management).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customer stakeholders
  • Manage commercial activities including quoting, pricing negotiations, and contracts.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the OEM business
  • Drive revenue and margin growth across existing and new product lines.
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics) to ensure flawless program launches and ongoing production support
Profile of candidate
  • You will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in an automotive sales/account management or program management role for a Tier 1 supplier
  • You must have worked in a fast paced automotive manufacturing/passenger car environment
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams.
  • German and English language proficiency is a must
