Marelli Electronics in Reutlingen, Germany, is seeking a Key Account Manager to join the Sales & Marketing team reporting to the ELS S&M Key Account Manager North European OEMs.

The position is based at our office in Reutlingen and involves independent management of a fixed automotive customer base, acquisition of new projects, and handling offers and pricing while guiding customer projects from concept to series production. A hybrid work model is offered to support work-life balance.

Qualifikationen

• Completed university or technical college degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualification plus relevant experience.
• In-depth customer, technical and industry knowledge in automotive or supplier industry.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English; strong communication and negotiation skills.

Aufgaben

• Independently and professionally support a fixed customer base in the automotive industry.
• Acquire new projects; manage technical and commercial inquiries; manage offers including pricing; perform risk assessment and final negotiations.
• Lead customer-oriented projects from conception through development to series production.
• Support ongoing series with regard to price negotiations and price adjustments.
• Manage parts price life cycles and cost-side change management.
• Improve results in ongoing business.
• Cooperate with interdisciplinary project teams and deepen customer loyalty.
• Regularly analyze the market and competitive situation and customer satisfaction; initiate improvements.
• Help shape the customer-specific innovation roadmap.

About the Position:

We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join the Sales & Marketing team of Electronics, reporting directly to the ELS S&M Key Account Manager North European OEMs.

This position is based at our office in Reutlingen

Your Responsibilities will be:

• Independent and professional support of a fixed customer base in the automotive industry
• Acquisition of new projects; first point of contact for technical and commercial customer inquiries; management and tracking of offers including pricing; risk assessment and final negotiations
• Customer-oriented project work from conception through the development phase to series production
• Supporting ongoing series with regard to price negotiations and price adjustments
• Management of parts price life cycles as well as planning, implementation and monitoring of cost-sidechange management
• Improving results in ongoing business
• Close cooperation with interdisciplinary project teams as well as deepening and intensifying customer loyalty
• Regularly analyzing the market and competitive situation as well as customer satisfaction and initiating measures to improve customer satisfaction
• Helping to shape the customer-specific innovation roadmap

What Qualifications you will bring:

• Completed university or technical college degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualification in combination with several years of professional experience in technical sales or project management in the automotive or supplier industry, preferably in the field of electronic systems
• In-depth customer, technical and industry knowledge, also in peripheral areas
• Professional appearance with strong customer orientation and communication skills
• Solution-oriented economic action and thinking in network structures, negotiating skills and assertiveness
• Analytical thinking, quick comprehension and good methodical and rhetorical skills
• High flexibility, ability to work under pressure, good organizational skills, ability to work in a team and willingness to travel
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills
