We are a Venture Capital firm actively on the ground in 8 cities around the world. We partner with exceptional entrepreneurs across geographies. Once we commit to a team, we go to the ends of the earth to make their success global.

Our team is small, going fast, ambitious, international, and diverse. You will be part of our global team and work from Berlin alongside our CFO (based in San Francisco), and Head of Legal (based in Berlin).

Tasks

In this role, your tasks will include, but not be limited to:

Cash Management

• Reconcile capital calls, cash receipts, and disbursements
• Review bank account transactions
• Review, approve, pay, and file invoices
• Reconcile monthly payroll and reporting with tax advisors

Reporting

• Review funds quarterly and annual financial statements and reports; ensure all calculations and data entries are correct
• Manage the funds’ annual audit
• Consolidate quarterly portfolio valuations

Investor Relations

• Prepare financial data for investor pitch decks
• Manage Limited Partner list for all correspondence

Admin and Compliance

• Filing of investment documents
• AML and KYC coordination with third party fund administrator
• Coordination with tax and other authorities

Requirements

• You have a minimum of 1-3 years relevant work experience in a financial environment; ideally related to (venture) funds
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• You join us with solid knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
• You are fluent in written and spoken English & have at least a B2 level in German
• You thrive in horizontal environments: Headline is not a pyramid. Things are moving fast so you better have exceptional prioritization and organizational skills.
