VC Stack is seeking an Intern for its Fund Team in Berlin. Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other financial software tools is a plus.
• Curious, open-minded, a team player, and possessing a global mindset.
• Proficient in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Available to work full-time for 3 to 6 months in our Berlin office.
• Must have valid work authorization for Germany.

Would you like to support a Fund Team in their daily routines, learn how to manage a portfolio of start ups in the early stages, do proper valuation of those and apply your theoretical knowledge into practice? At Earlybird, your projects, responsibilities, and tasks will likely include:

• Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders and LPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards, internal guidelines, and procedures.
• Track and monitor the performance of portfolio companies, supporting their financial and operational needs.
• Assist in analyzing financial statements, cash flows, and performance metrics of portfolio companies as part of the quarterly reporting process.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial information.
• Contribute to the daily operations of the Fund Admin Team, respond to ad hoc requests from LPs and other stakeholders, and support initiatives to further digitize the department.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for process improvements and propose ideas to enhance efficiency within the team and across the firm.
