• At First Momentum Ventures, we are building one of this generation's most extraordinary venture capital funds. What started in 2018 as a bold campus spin-off has rapidly evolved into one of Germany’s most renowned pre-seed and deep-tech investors.
• With our second fund (€35M+), we are doubling down on our mission to back the next generation of B2B and (deep) tech startups at the earliest stage. Over the years, we have invested in 50+ pre-seed startups, many of which have secured follow-on funding from top-tier European and US investors.
• As we take First Momentum Ventures to the next level, we are looking for a Finance and Investor Relations Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact fund shaping the future of early-stage tech investing in Europe.

Tasks

• Operational Backbone of the Fund – Work closely with our partners to ensure seamless operations, drive financial strategy, and strengthen investor engagement.
• Owning Finance & Investor Relations – Take charge of all financial matters and investor relations, ensuring smooth operations and strategic alignment.
• Supporting Fundraising & LP Relations – Help drive our fundraising efforts, build and maintain strong relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), and prepare key materials.
• Financial Analysis & Portfolio Oversight – Analyze financial trends, assess the impact of management decisions, and coordinate legal and finance matters across portfolio transactions.
• Investor Communication Strategy – Develop and execute a clear, transparent, and engaging communication strategy to keep our investors informed and connected.
• Organizing Investor Meetings & Reports – Lead the preparation of investor meetings, including crafting compelling presentations and performance reports.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in finance, fund administration, or investor relations within a financial services company, VC/PE fund, or startup.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile investors.
• Ownership & leadership – Comfortable taking ownership and leading processes and projects end to end.
• Proven analytical and financial modeling skills to support data-driven decision-making.
• A self-starter with a passion for startups, technology, and innovation.
• Willingness to travel – 20%-40%, depending on the fundraising cycle.
• Fluency in German and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
