Junior Consultant Airport Operations & ORAT (f/m/d) – Munich Airport International

Munich Airport International GmbH (MAI) provides management, consulting and training services for the aviation industry worldwide. MAI employs around 100 experts and has completed over 125 projects in more than 45 countries. Our headquarters at Munich Airport hosts a multicultural team focused on sharing best practices and advancing a sustainable aviation industry.

We are looking for a Junior Consultant (f/m/d) with experience and passion for Airport Operations & ORAT. You should be flexible to travel to global project locations and open to relocating to Germany if you are not already based there.

Join us to contribute to concept of operations, ORAT, operations improvement, and digitalized & automated airport operations, and to participate in projects worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Support airport consulting and management engagements in the areas of concept of operations, ORAT, operations improvement, and digitalized & automated airport operations.
• Advise aviation clients as well as airports and terminals managed by MAI; participate in complex airport projects worldwide.
• Formulate and develop recommendations, solutions and business cases aligned with client requirements; present to client management at various levels.
• Support business development initiatives with the teams to help acquire new projects.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions in Advanced Air Mobility, Sustainability & Carbon Reduction, and Digitalization & Automatization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with a focus on business, engineering, or equivalent; aviation background is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in consulting, aviation, or airport operations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively; if not living in Germany, flexibility to relocate to Munich.
• Excellent English and German language skills (spoken and written); other languages are advantageous.
• Certified clean police record for airport pass application and background check.
