What we are looking for
- Implementation of cost and value analysis activities as well as procurement capability.
- Project planning using methods, tools and instruments in the field of value engineering.
- Initiation of cost reduction programs via selected purchasing components.
- Implementation of cost workshops for creative idea generation and cross-functional cooperation with internal and external interface partners and suppliers.
- Participation in supplier-independent requirement specifications / specifications for tenders and support of the development function in supplier contacts.
- Support and contact person for projects in the product development process (PEP) up to the start of series production (SCP).
- Determination of target costs at assembly and system level in the PEP.
- Interface management between development, quality, production, purchasing and suppliers.
What qualifications you should have
- Completed (technical) university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the field of value management and/or cost/value analysis.
- Experience with value analysis plan according to VDI 2800, DFMA analyses and 4Cost Tool desirable.
- Professional experience in determining various manufacturing and production costs.
- Knowledge of project management and development processes.
- CAD and PDM knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of English.
- Independent, self-reliant and goal-oriented work as well as willingness to travel.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and ability to work under pressure.
- Industry knowledge from the defense, automotive or aerospace industry is an advantage.
The position can be filled either in Kassel or Kiel.
