Job summary

JD.com invites university students to join the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program in HR operations. Over 3–6 months, you will gain hands-on exposure to real projects, responsibilities, and growth within a global business.

You’ll work on process optimization, SSC delivery, HR data analysis, system development, and collaboration with external partners to support visa and international assignments.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a university with at least six months remaining until graduation.
• Majors in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Sociology or related fields.
• Internship experience in corporate HR is a plus; proficiency with Excel for data analysis and administrative duties.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization and Standardization: analyze HR needs, streamline onboarding, offboarding, housing fund, and related procedures.
• Business Operations and Delivery Management: oversee SSC delivery, manage billing, advise on policies, coordinate with providers.
• Data and Decision Support: monitor HR data across five insurances and one fund to inform decisions.
• System Development and Digital Transformation: drive HR system development and digital improvements.
• Team Management and External Collaboration: build HR service team and liaise with embassies and immigration authorities.

About Your Program

You’ll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early‑career talent hands‑on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3–6 months, you’ll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

What You'll Do

• Process Optimization and Standardization: Deeply analyze HR business needs, streamline and optimize processes such as social insurance, housing fund, onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and other related procedures. Develop standardized operating procedures; drive the transition of HR services from localized delivery to centralized shared services, improving the efficiency and standardization of HR management.
• Business Operations and Delivery Management: Responsible for the operation of the Shared Service Center (SSC) delivery center, coordinate the practical delivery of social insurance and housing fund services, manage billing, and provide policy consultations. Interface with social insurance service providers to ensure smooth business operations. Enhance delivery quality and employee satisfaction through quality checks and service optimization.
• Data and Decision Support: Continuously monitor and analyze HR data such as social insurance and housing fund information to support management decision‑making. Coordinate the management and analysis of the five insurances and one fund data, extract data value, and support the optimization of HR strategies and business innovation.
• System Development and Digital Transformation: Drive the development of HR systems, assess business needs, and formulate solutions. Monitor system development progress to ensure timely launch. Stay informed about industry trends, continuously optimize system functions, and promote the digital transformation of HR services.
• Team Management and External Collaboration: Build and develop a professional HR service team, enhancing team capabilities. Establish and maintain relationships with external institutions such as embassies and immigration authorities. Collaborate with internal departments and third‑party service providers to ensure the smooth processing of visa applications, international assignments, and related matters.

About You

• Currently enrolled in a university with at least six months remaining until graduation (MUST)
• Major in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Sociology or any related major
• Have an internship experience in corporate HR departments and administration will be a plus Proficient with Excel data analysis and administrative duties
• Proficient in English and Chinese is a must; Proficient in German is a plus.
