Job summary

Talantir is seeking an IT System Engineer to join a fast-growing digital product engineering company with a global presence. You will support on-premises and cloud IT infrastructures, ensuring stable, secure and modern solutions while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and automation using Bash, PowerShell and Ansible, as well as close cooperation with customers to continuously improve services and document

Qualifications

• Training or studies in IT or a comparable qualification.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, databases, OS management, Active Directory; Azure/M365 a plus.
• Experience with monitoring and ticket systems; independent, structured work and strong customer orientation.
• Nice to have: LPIC, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL; security, backup, disaster recovery, DevOps interest.

Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance and further development of IT infrastructures (on-premises & cloud-based) in the areas of Linux, Microsoft, databases
• Analysis and troubleshooting (3rd level support)
• Automation of recurring tasks (e.g. with Bash, PowerShell, Ansible or similar)
• Close cooperation with customers and internal teams to continuously improve our services
• Documentation, monitoring and performance optimization of the systems

Qualifications

• You've completed training or studies in the IT sector or comparable qualification.
• You have sound knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, database systems, operating system management, Active Directory and ideally basic knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, M365).
• You have experience in dealing with monitoring and ticket systems Independent, structured way of working and high customer orientation.
• You have strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team and a solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to have:

• Certifications (e.g. LPIC, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL) e.g. LPIC, MCSA, MCSE, ITIL).
• Experience with IT security, backup strategies and disaster recovery
• Interest in DevOps approaches and scripting.
