The ROSEN Group is seeking an IT Service Engineer - Workplace Administrator at our Lingen (Ems) site. You will deliver second-level support, manage Windows workplace environments, and handle cloud-based client management with Microsoft Intune.

You will automate tasks with PowerShell, maintain documentation, and collaborate with global IT teams to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient employee IT experiences. Flexible hours and hybrid work models are offered.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in workplace support or client management
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server environments (AD, DNS, DHCP)
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management
• Degree in computer science/IT or related field advantageous
• Microsoft certifications desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach
• Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate, test, document, and support the rollout of Windows releases
• Provide second-level support and administration for Windows workplace environments
• Manage the full lifecycle of physical and cloud-based clients using Microsoft Intune and related technologies
• Plan and implement client management and workplace-related projects
• Support local IT teams across the ROSEN Group global locations
• Analyze recurring incidents and contribute to sustainable problem resolution
• Automate operational processes using PowerShell to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Administer, deploy, and maintain third-party applications
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with security, configuration, and lifecycle management standards

What you will bring

• Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in workplace support, client management, or a comparable technical environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft desktop and server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, particularly Microsoft Intune and modern endpoint management
• A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is an advantage
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• An analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
• Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken
