Zusammenfassung

Deutsche Lufthansa AG’s finance function is seeking a proactive intern to join the Project Management Office (PMO) in Frankfurt. You will support planning, coordination, and monitoring of program activities while taking personal responsibility.

You will gain broad exposure to cross-functional finance teams, prepare plans and reports, and participate in meetings and workshops. Fluent English and German, plus strong MS Office skills, are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in at least the third semester of a degree program in a relevant field.
• Proof of enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (certificate of enrollment and written proof).
• Fluency in English and German (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

• Assist with planning, coordination and monitoring of project activities in the PMO.
• Support project-specific reporting and controlling tasks.
• Plan and manage workshops, presentations and meetings.
• Collaborate with other finance departments within the Lufthansa Group.

Tasks

The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a central role in managing the entire program. Working closely with others, you will assist with the planning, coordination, and monitoring of all project activities, taking on personal responsibility and actively contributing to the program’s success.

You will be part of the central Project Management Office (PMO). Your responsibilities will include:

• Acquiring practical skills with a focus on cross-functional coordination and program management
• Project-specific reporting and controlling activities
• Planning and managing workshops, presentations, and meetings
• Collaboration and coordination with other finance departments within the Group
• Preparation and development of project plans, status reports, and other project documentation
• Participation in meetings, workshops, and other events related to the project

Requirements

We are looking for ambitious students with a strong drive to succeed who are eager to contribute their individual skills and actively drive projects forward. Ideally, you should be willing to take on responsibility independently.

• At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program in business administration, mathematics, economics, business informatics, or industrial engineering, ideally with a focus on finance
• Proof of enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team
