Zusammenfassung

Lufthansa is offering an internship in its Finance Transformation Program. In the Project Management Office you will assist with planning, coordination, and monitoring of all project activities, taking on responsibility and contributing to the program’s success.

We seek ambitious students in at least the third semester of a business or engineering degree, fluent in English and German, with excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and strong analytical, organizational and teamwork abilities.

Qualifikationen

• Currently in at least the third semester of a business, economics, business informatics, or industrial engineering degree (finance focus) and able to prove enrollment.
• Proof of enrollment for the entire internship period (certificate and mandatory internship confirmation) or internship between bachelor’s and master’s programs.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Analytical, organizational and communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Aufgaben

• Assist with planning, coordination, and monitoring of project activities within the PMO.
• Prepare and develop project plans, status reports, and other documentation.
• Support project-specific reporting and controlling activities.
• Plan and manage workshops, presentations, and meetings.
• Coordinate with other finance departments across the Group.
• Contribute to cross-functional coordination and project management.

Tasks

The Project Management Office (PMO) plays a central role in managing the entire program. Working closely with others, you will assist with the planning, coordination, and monitoring of all project activities, taking on personal responsibility and actively contributing to the program’s success.

• Acquiring practical skills with a focus on cross-functional coordination and program management
• Project-specific reporting and controlling activities
• Planning and managing workshops, presentations, and meetings
• Collaboration and coordination with other finance departments within the Group
• Preparation and development of project plans, status reports, and other project documentation
• Participation in meetings, workshops, and other events related to the project

Requirements

We are looking for ambitious students with a strong drive to succeed who are eager to contribute their individual skills and actively drive projects forward. Ideally, you should be willing to take on responsibility independently.

• At the time of the internship, you must be in at least your third semester of a degree program in business administration, mathematics, economics, business informatics, or industrial engineering, ideally with a focus on finance
• Proof of enrollment for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be included with the application) or the internship must take place between your bachelor’s and master’s programs (gap year)
• Fluency in spoken and written English and German
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team
