MAHLE in Stuttgart invites you to an internship in Next Generation Air Quality Development (m/f/d). Join a global automotive supplier pursuing filtration and sensing technologies for cleaner mobility. You will work on advanced development projects, plan tests, and help optimize laboratory processes.

The program starts February/March 2027 for six months and offers an attractive remuneration, a 35-hour week with flexible hours, and strong support in the department amid an urban work environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Currently, purely voluntary internships cannot be offered.
• Strong interest in measurement technology, filtration, sensor technology, mass transfer, and fluid mechanics.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Complete resume, letter of motivation, certificate of enrollment, transcripts, and any university guidelines specifying the minimum duration.

Responsibilities

• Work on exciting and innovative advanced development projects in the field of in-cabin air quality, with a focus on filtration and sensing technologies
• Investigate and develop new processes and products
• Plan, conduct, and evaluate experimental test series while varying different influencing parameters
• Assess and optimize processes and products in our Air Quality Laboratory
• Develop, design, and set up test rigs and laboratory equipment, and define standard procedures and measurement specifications
• Optimize workflows and measurement methods at our Air Quality test facility
• Coordinate and collaborate with other departments, such as design engineering, purchasing, and suppliers
