Deutsche Lufthansa AG in Frankfurt is offering a 6-month internship starting January 2027. You will gain project experience, work with innovative technologies, and support initiatives to improve efficiency, transparency, and operational performance.

A motivated team will guide you and develop your skills throughout the internship. You will analyze data, prepare reports, and engage with multiple Lufthansa groups and external partners.

• Enrollment for whole internship period with current certificate of enrollment and written proof
• Must be at least in the 3rd semester of degree program

Tasks

• Gaining practical skills with a focus on collecting and analyzing data, as well as preparing business cases and reports
• Supporting proof-of-concept initiatives, including preparation, progress monitoring, and results analysis
• Analyze data and prepare reports to evaluate progress toward objectives
• Knowledge management
• End-to-end process analysis, process optimization, and process redesign.
• Stakeholder management
• Participation in collaboration with various LHG teams and departments, as well as external partners, in day-to-day exchanges and the implementation of defined initiatives

Requirements

• You are enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree program (Gap Year)

• You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
• You have a strong interest in innovative solutions and operational challenges
• You demonstrate a very high level of initiative and independence
• You possess strong conceptual and analytical skills and are able to understand complex relationships
• You have excellent organizational skills and work in a structured, careful, and systematic manner
• You enjoy working in a team, have a solution-oriented mindset, and a hands‑on approach
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills
• You have very good written and spoken English language skills
