NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an enthusiastic Integrated Children’s Services Planning & GIRFEC Lead to shape and deliver children’s services across the West Dunbartonshire partnership.

The post focuses on coordinating strategic planning, supporting performance improvement, and using data to inform decisions while ensuring the voices of children, young people and families influence service development.

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

Integrated Children's Services Planning & GIRFEC Lead
  • Fixed Term for 2 Years | West Dunbartonshire HSCP
  • Hours: Council – 35 hours per week, NHS – 36 hours per week
  • Salary: Council – Grade 8 £46,279.46 - £50,093.51, NHS – Band 6 £43,231 - £52,679

West Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Integrated Children’s Services Planning & GIRFEC Lead to play a key role in shaping and delivering children’s services across the partnership.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of Integrated Children’s Services Planning and GIRFEC activity, ensuring West Dunbartonshire continues to deliver on national priorities including Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC), The Promise, UNCRC and Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 requirements.

Working across the HSCP, West Dunbartonshire Council and a wide range of partner organisations, you will coordinate strategic planning, support performance improvement, analyse and use data to inform decision-making, and help ensure the voices of children, young people and families influence service development and delivery.
