Zusammenfassung

NHS Scotland is seeking a General Manager for Integrated Clinical Hub (ICH) to provide strategic oversight and lead the next phase of development. The post reports to the Director of National Operations and will manage multidisciplinary teams and partner with NHS Boards to deliver clinical quality and operational excellence.

Location options include Cardonald ACC West or Norseman ACC East, with a negotiable base location.

General Manager for Integrated Clinical Hub (ICH)

National Operations Directorate

Location: Cardonald Ambulance Control Centre (ACC West) or Norseman (ACC East)

We are seeking a dynamic, inspirational and experienced leader for the General Manager posts for the ICH. The post holder will report to the Director of National Operations and lead the next phase of the Integrated Clinical Hub (ICH) and the future developments within this exciting environment.

The post holder will provide strategic oversight to ensure the ICH develops in line with the agreed plan, with clinicians aligned to demand and clinical quality maintained throughout the continual transition of this department. You will be able to work independently and will have experience of managing multidisciplinary teams. You will also be able to analyse and interpret complex and sensitive operational and clinical data, identify trends, and support development of the future workforce and operating model. Effective team building and people management skills are essential, alongside an understanding of the current clinical response model and how it continues to be integrated with the ICH.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team within the National Operations Directorate, you will bring significant experience at middle or senior management level, with a proven record of success, sound judgement and effective decision-making. You will also demonstrate strong performance delivery, exceptional people management skills and effective partnership working.

You will be influential, determined and responsive, with the ability to lead people and deliver change. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience of working in a project environment is desirable, as is the ability to seek and incorporate views from patients, staff, NHS Boards and other key stakeholders. The base location for this post is negotiable.
