Mission

Within the department “Public oversight of the audit profession“, as an inspector, you will take part to the quality assurance reviews of réviseurs d’entreprises agréés and cabinets de revision agréés in Luxembourg

Role & responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance reviews with involvement in the full process of inspection:
  • Pre-inspection phase (inspection plan definition, communication with audit firms)
  • Review phase (verification of selected engagements, assessment of the internal quality management system of audit firms)
  • Reporting phase
• Participation in colleges of regulators at European level
• Contribution to the normative framework
• Participation in ad hoc projects

Your profile

• Statutory auditor qualification
• Confirmed professional experience in the audit of private equity investment funds
• Relevant experience and knowledge of applicable regulations
• Proficiency in written and spoken French and English. German and Luxembourgish are considered an asset
• Excellent writing, analytical, synthesis and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Available to travel abroad

The successful candidate (m/f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s/he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).

Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
