Our Client is looking to fill a 6 month FTC.

Salary is negotiable

German (B2 or above) and English (B2 or above) language oral and written skills are essential

Ability to travel in country and across EU and UK essential.

Responsibilities:

• Standards Implementation: Upgrade and standardise backend racks, cabling, servers, networking, workstations, printers, and other IT infrastructure in Düsseldorf facility in collaboration with global teams
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT processes and systems.
• Third-Party Coordination: Collaborate with third-party contractors to ensure seamless integration and support.
• Task Management: Prioritize and manage tasks using the Azure DevOps board.
• Agile Team Participation: Actively participate in an agile team environment.
• Language Proficiency: Communicate effectively in both English and German, both orally and in writing.
• Travel Requirements: Ability to travel within the country and across the EU, including the UK.
• Regional Support: Support other infrastructure projects within the region, including Austria.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with all stakeholders onsite and remote. Provide update reports.
• User Training: Provide one-on-one training sessions for onsite users to support their IT needs.
• Desktop Upgrades: Upgrade desktop workstations to Windows 11.
• System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure the reliability and performance of IT systems.
• Desktop Support : day to day IT support of service requests for onsite associates.
• Security Management: Implement and enforce IT security measures to protect company data and systems.
• Innovation: Identify and introduce innovative solutions to improve IT infrastructure and processes.
• Statement of Works: Create statements of work to have engineers onsite to complete necessary tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, including servers, networking, and desktop support.
• Experience working with third-party contractors.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and agile methodologies.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and German.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the EU and UK.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
