Carnival Maritime GmbH is seeking an HVAC‑R Superintendent to oversee the safe, reliable operation of our HVAC‑R systems on vessels. The role involves coordinating maintenance, improvements and technical modifications while collaborating with onboard and shore teams to uphold safety standards.

You will leverage hands-on maritime HVAC‑R expertise, lead small project teams and manage documentation and maintenance processes using Infoship/Amos as applicable.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in HVAC, refrigeration or a maritime technical field is required or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in project coordination or project management is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC‑R systems in a maritime environment is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Infoship/Amos or similar software is desirable.
• Experience leading small project teams is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Ensure safe, reliable, efficient and environmentally compliant operation of all HVAC‑R systems.
• Plan and execute HVAC and refrigeration operations, including maintenance, improvements and modifications for vessels.
• Foster safety and environmental culture through collaboration with onboard and shore teams.
• Conduct regular onboard inspections, including project and shipyard inspections.
• Plan and participate in all Dry Dock activities.
• Manage HVAC items and maintenance processes (spare parts, consumables, procedures).
• Review and optimize maintenance procedures and Infoship item setup.
• Organize and maintain all HVAC‑R documentation and technical information.

Join our team as an HVAC‑R Superintendent and contribute to the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our vessels. In this role, you will ensure the high performance and continuous improvement of our Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC‑R) systems while working closely with both onboard and shore‑side teams.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe, reliable, efficient and environmentally compliant operation of all HVAC‑R systems
• Plan and execute all HVAC and refrigeration‑related operations, including maintenance, day‑to‑day activities, improvements and technical modifications for assigned vessels
• Foster a strong safety and environmental protection culture through close collaboration with onboard and shore‑based teams
• Conduct regular inspections onboard, including project‑related and shipyard period inspections
• Plan and actively participate in all Dry Dock activities
• Manage HVAC items and maintenance processes (spare parts, consumables, procedures and instructions)
• Review, update and optimize maintenance procedures and manage item setup within Infoship
• Structure, organize and maintain all HVAC‑R documentation and technical information

Qualifications:

• A degree in HVAC, refrigeration or a maritime technical field such as ship operation, shipbuilding, outfitting, service or engineering; alternatively, a comparable technical qualification
• Practical experience in project coordination or project management is an advantage
• Solid hands‑on experience working with HVAC‑R systems in a maritime environment, ideally on cruise ships, large ferries or yachts
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with systems such as Infoship, Amos or similar software is desirable
• Experience leading small project teams is beneficial
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and a structured, solution‑oriented working style
