Zusammenfassung

Carnival Maritime GmbH is seeking a skilled HVAC-R professional to ensure safe, efficient operation of all HVAC-R systems across our vessels. You will plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, drive technical improvements, and support Dry Dock activities to keep the fleet at peak performance.

We value hands-on experience on cruise ships or large vessels, strong documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate small technical teams.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience with HVAC-R systems, ideally on cruise ships, large ferries, or yachts.
• Sound knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance processes and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating small technical teams (2-4 people).
• Experience with maintenance management systems such as Infoship or Amos.

• Ensure safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation of HVAC-R on assigned vessels.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive, corrective, and daily maintenance activities.
• Implement technical improvements to enhance system performance and fleet efficiency.
• Promote safety and environmental protection culture with onboard and shore teams.
• Conduct regular onboard inspections and technical assessments, including Dry Dock visits.
• Support Dry Dock planning and follow-up within the HVAC-R scope.
• Manage HVAC-R spare parts, consumables, and maintenance documentation for fleet readiness.
• Review and improve maintenance procedures and item setups in Infoship.
• Maintain HVAC-R documentation for fleet-wide accessibility and compliance.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all HVAC-R systems across the assigned vessels, ensuring technical excellence and supporting the overall performance of the fleet.

Your responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe, reliable, and energy-efficient operation of all HVAC-R systems across the assigned vessels
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all HVAC and Refrigeration maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and daily operations
• Implement technical improvements and modifications to enhance system performance and fleet efficiency
• Promote a strong safety and environmental protection culture in collaboration with onboard and shore teams
• Conduct regular onboard inspections and technical assessments, including project-and Dry Dock-related visits
• Support planning, execution, and follow-up of Dry Dock activities within the HVAC-R scope
• Manage HVAC-R spare parts, consumables, and maintenance documentation to ensure fleet readiness
• Review, update, and improve maintenance procedures and item setups in Infoship
• Maintain and structure accurate HVAC-R documentation for fleet-wide accessibility and compliance

Your profile:

• Degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Marine Engineering, Ship Operation, Shipbuilding, Building Services or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience working with HVAC-R systems, ideally on cruise ships, large ferries, or yachts
• Sound knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance processes and technical documentation
• Experience with maintenance management systems (e.g., Infoship, Amos) and MS Office (desirable)
• Experience in coordinating small technical teams or project groups (approx. 2-4 people)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with onboard and shore-based teams
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and structured working style, with a proactive mindset and focus on safety and continuous improvement
• Very good English language skills, written and spoken
