Job summary

Equifind partners with a leading global financial services firm to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner for their Frankfurt team. You will work closely with senior leadership to influence people strategy and drive growth, performance, and long-term success.

You will serve as a trusted advisor across functions, delivering strategic and operational HR support in a dynamic environment with a strong focus on engagement, development, and organisational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in financial services or fast-paced environments.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge across ER, performance, talent, reward, and org effectiveness.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing leadership decisions.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Desirable CIPD or equivalent HR qualification.
• Knowledge of German employment law.
• Experience supporting change and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Provide guidance across employee lifecycle: talent, performance, development, retention.
• Support organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
• Lead employee relations and ensure legal/compliance alignment.
• Drive performance management, succession planning, and talent reviews.

• Collaborate with Recruitment, L&D, and Reward to deliver a seamless employee experience.

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering across multiple functions to deliver strategic and operational HR support. Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Provide expert guidance across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including talent management, performance, development, and retention.
• Support organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
• Lead and manage employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and company policies.
• Drive performance management processes, succession planning, and talent reviews.
• Coach and support managers to enhance leadership capability and team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Recruitment, Learning & Development, and Reward teams to deliver a seamless employee experience.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
• Contribute to HR projects, continuous improvement activities, and broader business transformation programmes.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within the financial services sector or a similarly fast-paced, professional environment.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge across employee relations, performance management, talent development, reward, and organisational effectiveness.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at leadership level.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.
• Fluent German and English language skills.

Desirable

• A recognised HR qualification such as CIPD or equivalent.
• Knowledge of German employment law.
• Experience supporting change and transformation initiatives.
