Job summary

g2 Recruitment in Germany is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for a major construction programme, currently at a very early stage. You will lead an HSE team of approximately 5-10 people, establish and implement HSE systems across multiple projects, and work closely with senior leadership and the Board.

The role is on site with long days, English essential and German advantageous. You will drive a strong safety culture across the programme and coordinate across locations.

• Strong knowledge of HSE systems and construction safety.
• Confident communicating with senior leadership.

• Oversee HSE activities without directly managing subcontractor teams - could be from 10 - 40 Subcontractors.

Location: Germany – Frankfurt & other sites

Duration: 12 months – 3 years

Working Pattern: Monday–Friday/Saturday

Languages: English essential ; additional languages advantageous - Especially German

Rate: Rate disclosed when speaking on the phone

The position will be full time on site with no rotation.

The Role

Key Requirements

• Senior HSE experience within major construction projects - Especially Data Centres
• Proven experience leading an HSE team.
• Experience across multiple sites/projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE systems and construction safety.
• Confident communicating with senior leadership.
• Additional languages advantageous.

Monday to Friday site hours : 7 - 4/5/6pm

Saturday site hours: typically 07:00–14:0
