Job summary

Hikrobot, part of the Hikvision family, is seeking a detail-oriented HR Specialist to support daily HR operations in Germany. The role focuses about 70% on HR operations and lifecycle management and 30% on recruitment and coordination, within an international environment. The contract is for 12 months with renewal options.

You will work with the HQ HR team in NL and China to align HR policies, ensure German compliance, and support various onboarding activities and HR projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in HR operations or HR administration in multinational environments.
• Familiar with HR systems; Personio is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of German labor law and HR practices is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Good communication across countries and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes in Germany, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
• Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and internal platforms.
• Coordinate onboarding with IT, local administration and other departments.
• Assist with onboarding communications, scheduling and announcements.
• Support setup and administration of employee benefits.
• Assist with HR projects like process improvements and policy implementation.
• Ensure compliance with German labor regulations in daily operations.
• Collaborate with HQ HR in NL and China to align HR policies.

Your mission

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Specialist to support daily HR operations in Germany. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management, HR compliance coordination, and administrative support in an international environment.
• The role focuses approximately 70% on HR operations and projects, and 30% on recruitment and coordination support. At the same time, we are in the early stages of company building, which involves organizational restructuring between companies. You will be one of the people in charge of the main body transition, which will be a very valuable experience.
• This role is offered as a 12-month contract, renewable.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle (about 70%)

• Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding in Germany
• Maintain and update employee records in HR systems (e.g., Personio) and internal platforms
• Coordinate cross-functional onboarding arrangements with IT, local administration, and other departments
• Assist with onboarding communications, scheduling, and internal announcements
• Support the setup and administration of employee benefits (e.g., insurance, allowances)
• Assist with HR projects such as process improvements and policy implementation
• Support daily HR operations to ensure compliance with German labor regulations
• Collaborate with HQ HR team in NL and China to align and implement HR policies

Contracts, Visa & Compliance Support

• Assist in preparing and maintaining employment documents such as offer letters, contracts, and HR policy files
• Track contract signatures and maintain organized digital personnel records
• Support work visa and permit application/renewal processes under guidance
• Assist with HR compliance documentation and coordination across regions

Recruitment & Coordination Support (about 30%)

• Support recruitment activities in Germany, with a focus on intern hiring
• Assist in resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication
• Arrange interviews, internal meetings, and follow up on scheduling logistics
• Support recruitment channel management and employer branding initiatives
• Coordinate with external HR service providers (e.g., payroll, insurance, medical) and support related administrative processes
• Assist with internal events, team-building activities, and general office-related administrative support

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Fluent in German and English
• 1- 3 years of experience in HR operations or HR administration (multinational environment preferred)
• Familiar with HR systems (experience with Personio is an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of German labor law and HR practices is a PLUS
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work across different countries and cultures
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Proactive, responsible, and service-oriented
