Location: Germany, near Mainz | Industry: International Logistics

Are you passionate about people, international collaboration, and making HR processes work seamlessly across borders?

Our client, a fast-growing international logistics company, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Operations & Global Mobility Specialist (m/f/d) to strengthen its HR team in Germany.

In this diverse and hands-on role, you will play an important part in delivering a smooth employee experience — from onboarding to offboarding — while supporting international employees throughout their relocation, immigration, and employment journey in Germany.

Beyond day-to-day HR administration, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of key processes, collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and countries, and contribute to building a more efficient, scalable, and people-focused HR Operations function.

Your Responsibilities – Make an Impact
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
  • Take ownership of day-to-day HR administration across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain employment contracts, amendments, certificates, and other HR-related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure employee records, personnel files, and HR systems are consistently accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Work closely with Recruiting, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless HR service delivery.
Global Mobility & Expatriate Support
  • Act as a trusted HR point of contact for international employees, providing guidance and support throughout their employment journey in Germany.
  • Coordinate expatriate-related processes, including relocation support, onboarding, integration, assignment changes, offboarding, and repatriation.
  • Support visa applications, residence permits, work authorization, and other immigration-related matters in close cooperation with relevant authorities and external service providers.
  • Facilitate effective communication between international employees, internal teams, and external partners to ensure well-coordinated and timely processes.
HR Process Excellence
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and continuously improve HR Operations and Global Mobility processes.
  • Contribute to the development of practical HR guidelines, workflows, and best practices that support a growing international organization.
  • Help enhance the overall employee experience through reliable, responsive, and solution-oriented HR support.
Your Profile – What You Bring
  • A completed vocational qualification or university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Practical experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, People Operations, or a similar HR role.
  • A solid understanding of employee lifecycle processes, personnel administration, and HR documentation.
  • Exposure to Global Mobility, Expatriate Management, or immigration and work permit processes would be a strong advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills, a structured working style, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, hands-on, and service-minded approach.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office; familiarity with HR information systems is a plus.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential; Mandarin Chinese would be an additional asset.
  • A collaborative mindset, cultural awareness, and enthusiasm for working in an international, fast-evolving business environment.
