Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• PHR/SPHR Certification or SHRM certification, preferred.
• German (C1) and English (C1) language skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's headcount strategy for current and future business needs.
• Manage and administer the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and ongoing development of qualified applicants; collaborate with hiring managers to understand required skills and competencies.
• Support and manage organizational programs related to team member development, retention, performance management, onboarding, career development, and succession planning.
• Support current and future business needs through employee development, engagement, and motivation; build a culture that promotes diversity and inclusion.
• Provide guidance to management and staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive employee questions; handle accommodations, investigations, and terminations as needed.
• Nurture a positive working environment to retain and engage employees.
• Identify and implement best practices across all areas of the business; streamline nonvalue-added processes.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; review policies to ensure compliance.
• Manage leave processes and workers' compensation cases.

Major Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations headcount strategy for current and future business needs
• Manage and administer the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and ongoing development of qualified applicants. Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand skills and competencies required for job openings. Assist hiring managers with the effective use of selection criteria and onboarding tools.
• Support and manage organizational programs relative to team member development, retention, performance management, onboarding, career development, and succession planning, to ensure a talent pipeline that will successfully enable current strategies and future growth.
• Support current and future business needs through employee development, engagement, and motivation. Build a culture that empowers all employees to bring their true and most productive selves to work. Embed diversity and inclusion in all people practices.
• Provide support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive employee questions and issues arise; required to execute tasks in delicate circumstances such as reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
• Nurture a positive working environment, ensuring we are retaining and engaging our valuable employees
• Identify, advocate for and implement best practices across all areas of the business; simplify or reduce nonvalue-added processes.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or related field

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Human Resources experience in a Generalist capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills:

• PHR/SPHR Certification or SHRM certification, preferred
