Ververica is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our HR and office operations in Germany. The role will play a key part in ensuring smooth HR processes, a positive employee experience, and efficient office administration.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Lifecycle Administration

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparation of documents and collection/return of company assets.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with German labor law and company policies.

HR Systems & Data Management

  • Responsible for the daily operation of the company’s HR systems (HRIS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data.

Recruitment & Interviews

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Support approval workflows related to recruitment and hiring processes

Office & Administration Support

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (letters, parcels, etc.).
  • Support day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive and welcoming work environment.
  • Previous experience in HR support, office management, or administration preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with HR systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with commonly used HR platforms (e.g., Workmotion, Workable, HiBob, Teamtailor) is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in German and English.
