Job summary

Orizon GmbH is seeking a Software Developer (m/f/d) for Test and Simulation Framework at the Manching site, to work on avionics software for a leading Airbus defence program.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing the TSF in ADA and C++, developing avionic simulations, and building automated tests while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a mixed hardware and software environment.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in Informatics or aerospace software development is expected.
• Experience with simulation or avionic software development is essential.
• Familiarity with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.

• Design and develop software for the test and simulation framework (TSF) in ADA and C++.
• Develop avionic simulations for desktop virtual rig environment (MaTE DTVR).
• Create automated developer tests and perform code reviews.

Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Software Developer (m/f/d) for Test and Simulation Framework at the location Manching.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software for our test and simulation framework (TSF) in ADA and C++
• Development of Avionic Simulations for our desktop virtual rig environment (MaTE DTVR)
• Design and Development of automated developer tests (unit / module tests) as well as execution of code reviews
• Apply state-of-the-art technologies and techniques
• Contribute actively to virtual engineering (mixed environment of simulations and real Hardware)
• 2nd Level rig support for the test and simulation framework (DTVR)
• Customer support in application development and system testing
• Participation in the continuous improvement process
• Support Software teams concerning concepts and technologies

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science or comparable
• Professional experience in Informatics, Aerospace, Software-design patterns, architecture, system programming and cross-platform development
• Expertise in Simulation or Avionic Software Development
• Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) are a plus
• Programming skills in C+ and ADA
• Skills in Qt, Visual Studio MFC, Eclipse RCP, CI/CD, Python are desirable
• Fluent English and good German skills spoken and written
