Job summary

PUMA SE is seeking a Data Analytics Project Manager in Nürnberg to drive complex analytics initiatives across global teams. You will manage end-to-end delivery from planning to adoption, coordinating business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to ensure value delivery.

The role requires strong communication, a structured, analytical mindset, and hands-on experience with modern analytics platforms in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects from initiation through implementation and handover with clear plans, milestones and status reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Solution Architects, Data Engineers and Testers to ensure timely execution.
• Translate business requirements into project objectives, delivery plans and coordinated technology activities.
• Monitor scope, schedule, quality, deliverables and resources; address deviations and coordinate actions.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders on progress, risks, and actions.
• Identify, track and mitigate risks, issues and dependencies; escalate where necessary.
• Coordinate testing, validation, deployment readiness, documentation and handover activities.
• Apply delivery standards and drive continuous improvement.

• Project Delivery & Planning: Manage assigned projects from initiation through implementation and handover, maintaining clear plans, milestones, deliverables, and status reporting

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with business and technology stakeholders on progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and required actions
• Risk, Issue & Dependency Management: Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; coordinate mitigation activities and escalates where necessary
• Testing, Deployment & Adoption: Coordinate testing, business validation, deployment readiness, documentation, communication, and handover activities to support successful implementation and adoption
• Delivery Standards & Continuous Improvement: Apply established project management methods, governance processes, and delivery tools while contributing practical improvements and lessons learnt.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics or AI Project Management, or a comparable role within a complex international environment
• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional projects involving multiple business stakeholders and delivery teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate discussions, align expectations, and communicate effectively across organizational levels
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, business-focused language
• Structured, analytical, and results-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of data and analytics concepts, delivery processes, and technology environments
• Experience with modern analytics and cloud technologies such as Databricks, Microsoft Azure, Power BI, or comparable platforms is an advantage.
