You will work closely with site management teams to foster a strong and proactive EHS culture. The position focuses on identifying risks, implementing preventative measures, and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation and management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Leadership: Conduct regular site audits and inspections, follow up on corrective actions, and act as the main point of contact for HSE matters.
- Documentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain project-specific HSE documentation (e.g. HSE Plans, RAMS, Aspects & Impacts Registers) in collaboration with project teams.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to all relevant HSE legislation and HSEQ management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).
- Collaboration: Work proactively with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to promote and uphold project EHS requirements.
- Training & Inductions: Ensure timely delivery of site inductions, orientations, and safety training initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant third‑level qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety.
- Strong knowledge of current HSE legislation and regulations.
- Excellent IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English.
Experience on construction projects, particularly within data centre or pharmaceutical environments.
