Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking an AI Data Trainer in health policy and management to help evaluate and improve how AI models reason about epidemiology, health policy, biostatistics, and global health equity.

This is a fully remote, hourly role with flexible scheduling and meaningful, high-impact work. You will design complex scenarios, author evidence-based responses, audit AI outputs for accuracy and bias, and help ensure clear health communications for diverse populations.

AI is increasingly being used to answer complex health questions — and it needs to get them right. We're looking for public health professionals with graduate-level training to help evaluate and improve how leading AI models reason about epidemiology, health policy, biostatistics, and global health equity. Your expertise will directly shape how AI understands and communicates evidence-based health information to millions of people. What You'll Do

• Design Complex Public Health Scenarios — Create challenging, real-world problems involving disease outbreak simulations, health equity assessments, clinical trial interpretation, and policy analysis
• Author Gold-Standard Responses — Write rigorous, evidence-based solutions that draw on peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and authoritative guidelines (CDC, WHO, and more)
• Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations for accuracy, bias, logical consistency, and adherence to ethical standards
• Catch Misinformation — Identify gaps in the AI's health reasoning, flag misleading conclusions, and distinguish correlation from causation in health data
• Improve AI Communication — Provide structured feedback that helps models communicate health risks clearly and sensitively across diverse populations

Who You Are

• Hold a Masters in Public Health (MPH), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), or a closely related graduate degree
• Have strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
• Can translate complex health data into clear, culturally sensitive, and actionable written information
• Apply a high level of precision when working with statistical significance, citations, and health intervention logic
• No prior AI experience required — your subject matter expertise is what matters

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation systems
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
• Background in health communication, clinical research coordination, or public health surveillance
