Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Clinical Study Manager to support operational execution of clinical trials while contributing to AI training initiatives. This fully remote, hourly contract role is built for seasoned clinical operations professionals who want meaningful work on their own terms.

You will manage timelines and budgets, coordinate with CROs, investigative sites, and internal teams, and help ensure quality data for AI models.

What You’ll Do

• Manage clinical trial timelines, milestones, and deliverables to keep studies running on schedule
• Oversee study budgets, forecasting, and financial tracking across multiple vendors and research partners
• Coordinate with CROs, investigative sites, and internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day study operations
• Identify risks early, resolve operational issues efficiently, and keep all stakeholders aligned throughout the trial lifecycle
• Apply your clinical operations expertise to help evaluate and improve AI-generated content related to clinical research

Who You Are

• Experienced in clinical trial project management, with a strong command of budgets, timelines, and operational workflows
• Skilled at managing CROs, vendors, or external research partners in complex, multi-workstream environments
• A proactive problem-solver who keeps studies on track even when things get complicated
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently without day-to-day supervision
• Clear and confident communicator across cross-functional and global teams

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
