Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking a Health and Fitness Coach to inspire members at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre and surrounding facilities. You will deliver tailored fitness programmes, coach safe gym usage, run group classes, and assist new members in accessing ideal services.

• Experience delivering structured fitness programmes and coaching clients toward goals.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 PT within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health and fitness programmes to help members meet goals.
• Coach safe use of gym equipment and structured exercise plans.
• Lead group classes, small group training, and inductions.
• Support onboarding of new members and access to suitable programmes.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and presentation across the gym.

Health and Fitness Coach

Location: Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, Bisham, Marlow, SL7 1RR

Salary: £12.71 per hour plus excellent benefits

Schedule: Shift patterns between Monday to Friday 5.30am - 10.00pm and Saturday to Sunday 7.00am - 7.00pm

As a Health and Fitness Coach in our Leisure team, you’ll inspire members to achieve their health and fitness goals through expert coaching, fitness programmes, and exceptional customer service. You'll help create a welcoming and supportive environment where people can build healthier lifestyles and achieve lasting results.

What you’ll do as a Health and Fitness Coach

• Deliver Health and Fitness programmes designed to help members achieve their individual goals.
• Coach and support members with safe and effective use of gym equipment and structured exercise programmes.
• Deliver group exercise classes, small group training sessions, and induction activities.
• Support the onboarding of new members, helping them access the most appropriate programmes and services.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the gym environment.
• Complete regular equipment inspections and contribute to an outstanding customer experience.

Does this sound like you?

• Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification is desirable, or willingness to work towards it within your first 12 months.
• Experience or knowledge of delivering structured fitness programmes and coaching clients towards their goals.
• Group exercise qualifications in areas such as Circuits, Indoor Cycling, High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Pilates, or Reformer Pilates are desirable.
• Passionate about health and fitness, with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
