Job summary

PRIMA Partners Global in Düsseldorf seeks a senior SAP Applications Lead to own the SAP landscape, align it with business goals and the wider IT strategy.

You will develop and execute the SAP applications roadmap, drive modernization and standardisation, lead the team and coordinate external partners, ensuring system stability, performance and measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience leading SAP teams and managing SAP portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and integration with business applications.
• Experience managing SAP roadmaps, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management with business and IT leaders.
• Experience with SAP transformation programmes or large-scale ERP implementations.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, Fiori, Analytics Cloud and other SAP solutions.
• Experience coordinating external SAP partners and service providers.
• Background in digital transformation and application lifecycle management.

Job description

• Several years of experience working within SAP environments, with a strong understanding of SAP applications and enterprise system landscapes.


• Proven experience leading SAP teams, managing application portfolios, or overseeing SAP-related projects and programmes.


• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its integration with wider business applications.


• Experience managing SAP application strategy, system roadmaps, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with business leaders, IT management, and external implementation partners.


• Experience managing budgets, resources, service providers, and application-related costs.


• Good understanding of IT service management, system availability, security, and operational stability.


• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.


• Fluent German and good English communication skills.


• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes or large-scale ERP implementations.
