Job summary

You will own conversion strategies, drive end-to-end feasibility, manage dependencies and align stakeholders to a practical roadmap, ensuring integrated business transformation rather than a mere upgrade.

Germany | Senior Leadership | Enterprise Architecture & S/4HANA Transformation

The Opportunity

An established global technology organisation is looking for a Senior Enterprise & Solution Architect to play a strategic role in shaping some of Germany's most complex SAP transformation programmes.

This is a senior, customer-facing position sitting at the intersection of enterprise architecture, SAP S/4HANA transformation, technology strategy and solution design.

Rather than focusing purely on delivery, you will work with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of SAP and senior business leaders, helping organisations define what their future SAP landscape should look like and translating strategic objectives into scalable enterprise solutions.

You will have the opportunity to influence major transformation programmes from the earliest stages – architecture vision, roadmap and solution strategy through to implementation and long-term evolution.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own and shape enterprise and solution architecture for large-scale SAP transformation programmes.
• Define future-state architectures and technology roadmaps across complex SAP environments.
• Advise senior customers on S/4HANA transformation strategies, architecture decisions and modernisation programmes.
• Translate business strategy and requirements into scalable SAP solution architectures.
• Lead architecture discussions spanning SAP S/4HANA, Cloud, BTP, integration, data and surrounding enterprise applications.
• Evaluate existing SAP landscapes and define pragmatic transformation and migration approaches.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor to C-level and senior IT stakeholders.
• Lead solution strategy during the early stages of major transformation programmes.
• Bring together SAP, cloud, data, integration and infrastructure capabilities into coherent enterprise solutions.
• Work alongside specialist architects, engineering teams and global delivery organisations to ensure architectural vision translates successfully into delivery.
• Engage with SAP and the wider technology ecosystem around emerging solutions, architectures and transformation approaches.
• Contribute to strategic customer opportunities by defining compelling solution architectures, transformation roadmaps and technology propositions.

You should bring:

• Extensive experience across SAP architecture, transformation or technology strategy.
• Strong understanding of complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Broad understanding across SAP technologies rather than expertise limited to a single module.
• Knowledge of modern SAP architecture including S/4HANA, SAP BTP, cloud, integration, APIs, data and extensibility.
• Experience engaging directly with senior technology and business stakeholders.
• Ability to connect business strategy with technology architecture.
• Experience working across complex international organisations and distributed delivery teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at executive level.
• German at C2/native level and fluent English.
